WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

Sunday School
Sunday morning classes at 9:30 AM, followed by breakfast at 10:15 AM

Here we learn about God and EQUIP ourselves with His Word. There are classes available for all ages.

S.P.A.M. (Student Performing Arts Ministry)
Sunday afternoons at 3:30-5:00 PM

Here, our Music Ministry provides opportunities for youth to learn choir songs, skits, interpretive choreography and modern dance. Once they are EQUIPPED, the youth use these different arts in several areas of worship and evangelism throughout the year.

Behold, the power of C.H.E.E.S.E. (Christians Helping Each other Every Sunday Evening)
Sunday afternoons at 5:00-6:30 PM

During this time, we HELP each other and look for ways we can encourage people around us. We do this by visiting our older church members, those who are sick or those who just need to see a dozen teens to brighten their day. We also participate in the different meal ministries our church supports.

A light snack is provided between S.P.A.M and C.H.E.E.S.E.

G.R.A.C.E. Group Bible Study
Tuesday afternoons at 5:00-6:30 PM

This bible study is for those who want to dig deep and understand how they can apply God's Word in their lives. If you are interested in participating in this study, you must talk to Pastor Dennis.

Wednesday Night S.T.O.M.P.
Wednesday nights at 6:00-8:00 PM - Also, come for dinner from 5:15-6:00PM!

During this time we Shower The Only Master with Praise as we CELEBRATE our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We start by singing and enjoying a fun game. We then explore a practical lesson to help strengthen us for the rest of the week. As 7:00 the Middle School students explore the Bible and have fun while the High School students enjoy a Coffee House with lots of good discussions.

Friday Night B.R.E.A.K. (Buddies Reaching Everyone with Acceptance and Kindness)

During this time we simply go out and have fun and REACH others. Ask about the next fun activity.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES FOR 2004

True Love Waits (February 13 and 15)

Each year around Valentines Day, we have two events to encourage youth to remain sexually pure until they enter a Biblical marriage. On the 13th we will be hosting a community wide conference where youth can learn what God wants for them through great speakers, an awesome band and different workshops. On the 15th, we give the youth a chance to make a pledge before God and their parents to remain pure as part of our Sunday morning service.

Generation Hope Banquet (March 13)

Each year we celebrate what God is doing by hosting a banquet. Come have fun while you learn about all the things Generation Hope has to offer.

Impact

A high school conference in Ocean City, Maryland. During this weekend we hear from many different speakers that challenge and encourage us to live out our faith.

Acquire the Fire (April 23 and 24)

A conference held in the Baltimore Arena with great speakers with a missions focus. This conference also has many great Christian bands.

Centrifuge

We spend a week in the mountains of North Carolina to get away and learn about God. There is something for everyone. Activities include sports to crafts to drama and hiking.

Vacation Bible School

Our whole church has a week of fun and high energy as we explore the Bible with great activities, games and large group times. Join us in the Youth VBS class.

Summer Mission Trip (July 17-24)

Youth that have completed the 8th grade spend a week away from home serving in a variety of ways. We have done light construction, children's ministries and social ministries.

A.C.T.I.O.N. Week (August 16-20)

We start at 8:00 AM to run a local Backyard Bible Club and perform other service related jobs which end at 5:00 PM. This is where we Apply Christ Together In Our Neighborhood.

Alive

A middle school conference in Ocean City, Maryland. We have fun, get a bit goofy and get challenged at the same time.
